Its been a while since I've posted. Garrison Keillor once said that if you spend a day in a new place you can write a book about it, a week and you can write a page, a month and you can barely write a postcard about it. I'm approaching the postcard stage with Barrow. The work has been physically demanding involving long cold days and skeleton crews. Personally I've been on a journey as well. Being involved with a project like this has given me moments to reflect inward and as a consequence my photographs may not capture the curiosity that abounds in this outpost of civilization.
