Last day in Puerto Rico

Today is our last day in PR and we wrapped around 6pm. After a rejuvenating  swim in the pool and loosen up with a glass of wine in the hot tub We are all going out to supper to celebrate our host, Samantha Brown's birthday. I'm flying home tomorrow and have 2 whole days to re-pack for 5 weeks in the arctic circle. Stay tuned for a more in depth PR post and some final pictures.

Long hot day of shooting

I shouldn't really complain should I? Today we shot in a fruit market in a not so touristy part of town and I had 3 of the most scrumptious fruit shakes (bebidas?) that I've ever had. Full of mango, papaya, cinnamon and honey they made up for 2 and a half hours of straight shooting.
After the fruit thing we went to an amazing restaurant and filmed, then had an amazing lunch, probably the best food I've had on the island yet.

Puerto Rico!

I'm working in Puerto Rico with Samantha Brown and the Travel Channel. We're staying at a stately old grandmother of a hotel, The El Convento. It was built 350 years ago as a convent and was converted to a small luxury hotel in the 1960's.

I'm lucky enough to have my wife and daughter along on this trip and yesterday was my one day off so we went to the beach with Rory, the cameraman and had a wonderfully relaxing time.
